  In the beginning euphoric blush of deciding to do this walkabout I really didn’t think about the practicalities of the walk. After all I’d walked 760km across Northern Spain along the Camino de Santiago. How much more difficult could a mere 544km across mid-Ontario be? Well four months into the planning I’m finding out the answer to that query. I’d forgotten one small, but very significant thing about traipsing across the Camino. The infrastructure for the care of Pilgrims is very much in situ. Albergues and Refugios are strategically placed along the Way to offer the Pellegrino a place to rest, relax, eat and sleep.
