Another day on the open road completed. Only 456km to go. Met Ben and Mary at a picnic area today. Turns out Ben is a cancer survivor…no he’s hesitation at all… Out came a $20 donation. You meet the nicest people at public portapotties!! Thought this sign was funny..hope you enjoy! Resting now because as Scarlet said “after all tomorrow’s another day.” Thanks to Rose for her wonderful meatloaf patties and cucumber slices. They were just the ticket!! Day 3 – Aug 3

It’s 7.20 am and am getting set to start my 3rd day of walking. The skies are grey and heavy with left over rainfall from yesterday’s deluge. Thank goodness I brought 2 pairs of shoes with me. I must admit to being just a little reticent about today’s walk but then I remember why I’m walking… 10.40am on 3rd day of walk..Goingwalkabout2015.com.. Sitting at Tony’s in Shelburne for a rest…. Nothing much open here so thank goodness for Tony. 9km down .. 13 to go…. Hope the rain holds off..
